Week of August 1-5
Pre Gymnastics and Beyond Camp AM
Under the direction of Chery Bessette and staff members
Dance w/ Katie, Cheer w/ Jamie, Ball Sports w/ Scott, Storybook Theatre w/ Merlynne, & Alphabet Art w/ Lynn
(Boys and Girls ages: 3-6 yrs)
9:30 - 12:00 pm
Cost $75
Preschoolers will enjoy our daily themes utilized in learning movement patterns of gymnastics on smaller scale balance beam, bars, floor tumbling, and a vaulting plus slides, ladders and more gym equipment in a fun, and nurturing environment. Plus other fun activities like parachute fun, ball sports, nature exploring, art, creative movement, and more. Meet a different staff member each day sharing their knowledge and talents with students, teaching Alphabet Art, Storybook Theatre, Dance, Cheerleading, an animal visitor, and nature adventures in our beyond garden, like butterfly catching and more.

Theatre, Dance and Acrobatics Camp I

At this introductory camp, campers will be introduced to different types of dances including ballet, African, hip hop, and jazz plus jumps, turns, and acrobatic floor tumbling skills according to their ability level. We will accommodate and challenge even the experienced tumbler, from rolls to cartwheels. Campers will learn different dances everyday plus explore theatre through fun interactive games to learn more about teamwork needed for different sports and Theatre. On the last day of camp there will be a demonstration of some dances and cheers learned throughout the week and a short comedy skit.

This introductory camp is fun filled for boys & girls with a variety of activities such as gymnastics obstacle courses simple enough for the beginner and still challenging to a more advanced sibling. Plus parachute fun, nature exploring, creative dance, ball sports, earth art, storybook theatre, plus an animal visitor and more… Also meet a different staff member each day sharing their knowledge and talents with the students. .
Campers will take a walk around the gym to the Beyond Garden to experience nature. We will encourage their natural curiosity and exploration of the natural world outside. Campers can make their own adventures in our brick people village and learn a little more about the exciting world of nature catching butterflies and other creatures (bugs, snakes, & toads oh my!) Fun!
Campers will go to “The Pond” ice skating rink for a short lesson and have fun with some synchronized group exercises and games plus open skate afterward to utilize their newly learned skills.

Gymnast must be able to perform a cartwheel, back roll, and have experience on equipment. Program incorporates learning routines, advanced tumbling skills, dance, and activities utilizing strength and body techniques. During this camp, each day we will have members of our gymnastics team demonstrating beginner through advanced skills to show campers the progressions. This helps students to understand the sport of gymnastics; the training involved, and be able to ask questions to make this camp both educational and memorable while enjoying learning new skills with our friendly, energetic staff. Plus, meet our other staff members and experience story theater, dance, ball sports,, nature exploring, beyond balls, and more.
