NEW! Family Gym Enjoy family fun together exploring our gym obstacle courses, simple enough for tots and still challenging for the older siblings. Also includes parachute fun for great, happy memories, together in an unstructured environment with tunnels, slides, ladder and more in our preschool area.
NEW! Story Theater Children will be introduced to creative movements, kids’ yoga and dance to further explore the story theme of the day and learn to utilize the healthy expressions of emotion and the development of positive personal virtues. Spatial awareness, strength, and flexibility will be incorporated as imaginative ideas are acted out. Individual and group creations encouraged in a fun (and often times funny) and loving environment. A theatrical performance will conclude each session.
Ball Sports Children will enjoy using a variety of objects to help them gain the dynamics required for hand, eye, and foot coordination used in sports with balls to prepare them for T-ball, soccer, basketball, tennis, and more…
Beyond Balls This class is an extension class from Ball Sports and will introduce the basic rules, names, positions, and the terminology used in different sports. We will also emphasize the use of teamwork and good sportsmanship.
NEW! The Art of Me Children create a book about themselves using different art materials. In the process they will become more aware of themselves as individuals learning to value their differences and similarities. They will cut, paste and write letters draw and paint. We also explore virtues and what behaviors lead to the development of these virtues such as compassion and others. The children will choose the virtues that they want to develop in themselves and include this information along with artwork on the theme in their autobiographies.
Pre Karate will develop coordination, balance, gross motor skills, mental focus, and self control. It will also address stranger and home safety (911 and home ph #).
Pre Cheerleading Children will learn basic cheer / dance movements used in cheerleading. Learn more about the teamwork necessary, good sportsmanship, and self confidence in a fun and encouraging atmosphere. They will also learn basic cheerleading jumps and conditioning to improve cheerleading skills.
Little Dancers I & II Introduce basic ballet along with correct techniques and flexibility exercises utilized for fun, theatrical dances using age appropriate dance movements and combinations to a variety of children’s songs, using ribbons and other fun activities.
